Timing belt, water pump, tensioner, thermostat and thermostat housing all changed last year. No receipt but we have the box with the old parts.
All the tyres have fair tread and should be good for a while yet. no slow punctures etc
No major damage to the bodywork. There’s a few age related scratches and a couple of small dents, some may polish out and some won’t.
Interior is all ok, drivers seat has a small hole- please see pictures.
We are the second owners and have had this car 11 years. Selling as we have only done 500 miles since the last MOT in September. We have 3 other cars and although it’s been a very reliable family car we no longer really need it.
Since being sat around unused the fuel pump has become noisy. I dropped the fuel tank to inspect and whilst refitting I’ve damaged the thread for securing the end of one of the petrol tank straps. I believe the tank is currently secure enough to drive short term (in my unqualified opinion and at your own risk) but will obviously require attention to the strap fitting and issue with the noisy pump. One of the front top suspension bearings can be a bit noisy which can be heard when turning the wheel whilst stationary or parking (passed MOT like that)
Will the car get you home if you’re driving it away? I don’t know but I imagine it would. I took the car out for a 30 mile drive the other day with no issues to how the car performed. The petrol tank is secured in the correct position but I wouldn’t recommend putting too much fuel in untill the damaged strap thread is sorted.
We’re away untill Monday 6th April, so any viewings are welcome on the 6th or 7th near Huntingdon
