Turbo-related failure — oil has entered the exhaust system. The car will need recovering, it cannot be driven away.
Recent work: new turbo fitted (A2A unit, approx 2 months ago, 1-year warranty), new turbo return pipe, full set of new tyres (February 2026), and a full service including oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin filter. Service invoices available.
Noted faults: sometimes screeches when pulling off in first (doesn’t happen a lot but still thought to include), clutch pedal squeak when pressed, and a knocking/clicking noise on full right lock with a slight amount of steering movement past the normal full-lock stop (suspected worn CV joint, possibly with some play in the steering — buyer to inspect).
Previously off the road for a period before being recommissioned earlier this year.
Sold as seen, spares or repair only.
Cat N i believe a few years ago until we fixed it.
THE FAULT (why it has a bad engine)
A few weeks ago the car suffered a turbo failure, with oil getting into places it shouldn’t (including the exhaust). It is currently SORN and is being sold as a project / spares or repair. Buyer to satisfy themselves as to the exact work required.
WHAT’S RECENTLY BEEN DONE
– NEW TURBO fitted a couple of months ago, with 1-year warranty

HISTORY (full honesty)
The car was previously off the road for a period before being recommissioned in February — prior to that it had an issue where the engine would lose power and cut out. It was repaired and back on the road, tyres and turbo done, before the recent turbo-related failure.
