Lovely 2002 Ford Transit SWB – Low Mileage, Long MOT
For sale is a well-maintained 2002 Ford Transit SWB van with MOT until July. It has covered just 70,000 miles from new and has had only one previous owner, who kept it locally and had done just 50,000 miles before I purchased it three years ago.
During my ownership, the van has benefited from significant maintenance and investment, including a clutch and gearbox rebuild, new starter motor, four new Continental tyres, and various welding work. It’s a solid, reliable van that starts first time, drives well, and has been looked after properly with annual oil changes and regular upkeep.
Given its age, it’s naturally not perfect. It was previously used as a builder’s van, so the interior is a bit rough and the driver’s seat has a tear (as shown in the photos), along with a few other minor cosmetic marks. However, mechanically it’s in great shape and, for its age, it’s a real gem.
A dependable, honest van ready for work.
