1998 Ford Escort GTI 1.8 Zetec 16v ProjectThis Car has been owned since 9 months old so only 2 registed keepers from new.Very low mileage at only 63kVery rare GTI due to having factory fitted sunroof and factory fitted air con.This Escort is a project as it’s been off the road properly since 2009 but it did get recommissioned in 2014 but never really got used.In 2014 when it got Recommissioned it got a few added extras added by myself including genuine ford struts brace and Jan speed stainless exhaust and 16 inch Mondeo SI wheels.(Original parts are included in the sale including 15″ original GTI alloys)Due to standing fuel pump in the tank has packed up so this is a NON RUNNER. It turns over freely but no fuel coming to the rail. Wheel arches got replaced and boot lid repaired (there was a rot hole that I cut out and pieced in a new piece of steel) but unfortunately paint work crazed a few months later, so could do with paintwork but wheel arches are still solid.Interior is in fantastic condition and it has NEVER been smoked in as shown in ash tray and cigarette lighter.This car is a project and needs recommissioning – this means you can’t drive it home. It needs to be recovered. It is a very good basis due to low mileage, low ownership and being diamond white it looks smart when all done up.It comes with the 3 keys (2 black and red key), book packs, service books and various history of work.
