As an engineer, I maintained the car myself, mainly using parts from the Capri Club. MOT certificates are available from 1992 until 2011 when I then dry stored the car in a facility due to travelling for work. In 2009 the cylinder heads were replaced for unleaded heads (hardened valve seats etc.). MOT certificates are available for 2021,22,23 and the current one in November 2025. The original 13 inch, 7 spoke alloys were replaced with Brooklands 15 inch alloys (purchased from the Capri Club) to enhance the asthetics along with the addition of the Mk2 radiator grille. The car has its original parcel shelf, however there is a homemade one with speakers which will be included in the sale. All bodywork panels are original and a full respray was carried out in 2008.On 22-Mar-26 at 23:02:01 GMT, seller added the following information:Laserline Thatcham 1 Alarm/Immobiliser with remote central locking professionally installed in 2007.
