Registered 1-10-1959 and only covering 67000 miles, this is an honest, fun, reliable classic that draws more attention to it than any supercar.
I have owned it for nearly 8 years and covered around 2000 miles in my ownership. I have had the side cover gasket replaced and general maintenance done using Castrol classic engine oil.
Prior to me buying it a restoration had been done 10 years before, its been converted to electronic ignition.
It pulls well in all gears, as best as can be expected, and drives really well, there are a couple of blemishes on the paint which is understandable at 67 years old.
Inside it is amazing, the clocks all work and still has vacuum wipers which are interesting if needed when going up hill.
However being the Deluxe you do have the benefit of a heater although not as effective as modern vehicles.
Underside the car is perfect it has been undersealed and protected and doesn’t show any signs of corrosion.
